The ALIS features:

Seamless Integration with the TA.XTPlus Texture Analyzer and Exponent Software. The ALIS integrates with the TA.XTPlus with quick and easy set-up. Samples are mounted on quick release plates which can be clicked onto the ALIS. The ALIS is completely integrated with Exponent software for easy entry of set-up parameters, making even the most complex testing applications easy to set up and operate.

Walkaway Automation. Load multiple samples into the ALIS and leave the ALIS to run the tests. Test specimens are typically located in custom-made support plates then, with prompted steps, testing conditions are set, tests are performed, and results are reported with little or no operator involvement.

Extensive Flexibility. The ALIS is available in two platform lengths – 250mm and 600mm with two modes of operation. The platform can either be moved and paused for the testing of each sample, or can be moved constantly at the same speed as the texture analyzer’s arm.

Customization for Multiple Testing Protocols. The ALIS includes a "batch testing window" to facilitate a multiple testing protocol that moves the platform in either direction for regular or irregular spaced samples. It also includes the ability to add customizable operator prompts with warning messages and user instructions.
